Free use and licensing
Documentation index
MYKOS is free to download and use for personal and internal business purposes
under the MYKOS Free-Use License, granted by MYKOL-DOT-COM for
releases supplied with that license. You may run your own commercial
applications, inspect supplied source and make internal modifications. Optional
hosting, setup, migration and support are separate paid services.
When separate permission is needed
Redistributing or reselling covered MYKOS material, and selling access to its
management interface, API or equivalent management functions, require written
permission. Ordinary application hosting and consulting on a customer's own
licensed deployment are allowed within the license's boundaries. Contact
mgreen@mykol.com for permission requests.
Your rights and existing licenses
You retain your applications, data and original modifications. Compliant use of
a licensed version does not expire because you decline optional paid services
or a later version has different terms. The license does not promise future
updates, support hours or uptime. Earlier separate grants are not replaced
retroactively. Public repository platform rights remain separate.
Third-party components
The component license inventory lists the pinned Python runtime and documentation tools. It is a limited inventory, not a full compliance certification.
The third-party notices preserve separate upstream
rights, including the GPL/LGPL CRIU notices, MIT material, browser libraries,
and vendor assets. Those rights are not restricted by the proprietary MYKOS
terms. Vendor operating systems, applications and images require their own
entitlements and may have hardware/hosting restrictions. The macOS bootstrap's
recorded upstream notice could not be re-fetched at its pinned commit; its
existing local MIT notice is preserved without an added ownership claim.
This license is proprietary free-use, not open source. The full license and
applicable third-party terms control this summary. See also
